TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. BY ACCEPTING DELIVERY OF RENTED ITEMS, CUSTOMER AGREES TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHOWN ON
THIS WEBSITE AND RENTAL CONTRACT. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT S/HE HAS RECEIVED IN GOOD ORDER
ALL RENTED ITEMS AND OTHER GOODS LISTED ON THE CONTRACT.
2. CUSTOMER ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL RENTED ITEMS, INCLUDING THEIR SAFE AND PROPER
USE, OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, AND RETURN TO S.T.A.C.E. EVENT DESIGNS. CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
ALL LOSS, DAMAGE, OR REPAIR.
3. S.T.A.C.E. MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY
WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
4. THIS RENTAL CONTRACT FORMS THE SOLE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CUSTOMER AND S.T.A.C.E. THE
CUSTOMER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD S.T.A.C.E. HARMLESS FOR ANY CLAIMS FROM CUSTOMERS USE OR
MISUSE, INCLUDING ANY THIRD PARTIES FOR LOSS, INJURY, AND DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY ARISING
OUT OF THE CUSTOMER'S NEGLIGENCE OR OPERATION INCLUDING LEGAL COSTS INCURRED IN DEFENSE OF
SUCH CLAIMS.
5. OPERATORS SHOULD READ ALL WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS (SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS).
6. RETAKING OF EQUIPMENT: IF CUSTOMER FAILS TO RETURN ALL RETURNED ITEMS UPON AGREED TIME,
CUSTOMER AGREES TO PAY FOR ALL ADDITIONAL CHARGES. IF CUSTOMER REFUSES TO RETURN RENTED ITEMS,
THE CUSTOMER AGREES THAT S.T.A.C.E. AND ITS AGENTS MAY TAKE ALL REASONABLE ACTIONS NECESSARY TO
RECOVER RENTED ITEMS WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE OR LEGAL PROCESS.
7. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THE POSSIBILITY OF INJURY AND WILL PROVIDE ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL
TIMES ACCORDING TO THE RULES GIVEN TO RENTAL PARTY PRIOR TO EVENT, WRITTEN INSTRUCTION, OR
VERBAL.
8. ATTORNEY FEES: CUSTOMER AGREES TO PAY ALL REASONABLE ATTORNEY FEES AND COURT COSTS
INCURRED BY S.T.A.C.E. IN ENFORCING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
RENTAL POLICY
Pricing: Rental prices are effective January 2009 and are subject to change without notice. Rental rates listed are for 24
hours during the months of May and June. To better accommodate you, we have extended our rental rates to a three-day
period the remainder of the year. All charges are for time out, whether used or not. Ask about our extended rental rates.
Rentals needed in less than 30 days before an event is subjected to a Rush charge which is two and a half times (2 ½)
normal rates/prices.
Reservations: We recommend that orders be placed early to guarantee availability. Orders can be placed in person or over
the phone. We require a signed contract and deposit to secure your order. Order changes must be made at least 72 hrs
prior to delivery.
Deposits: A 50% deposit of the subtotal (without tax or mileage) is required at the time of agreement. This deposit is
nonrefundable. It is used to guarantee rented items. The balance is due 10 days prior to delivery. Reservations made in
the year prior to the event require a 25% deposit with an additional 25% due on January 15th of the following year.
Payments: We accept Cash, Personal Checks or Money orders. Final payment is due 10 days prior to pickup/delivery.
Damage Waiver: Customers are responsible for all items rented from the time it leaves our possession until time it is
returned. Please be sure all items are secured when not in use and protected from the weather. We charge for missing
items. A 6% damage waiver charge of the total rental is added to all orders. Damage waiver is not insurance. The waiver
covers accidental breakage due to normal use. Pieces must be returned as the damage waiver does not cover loss,
including theft or damage caused by misuse or abuse, such as vandalism, damage done during decorating, staples, etc.
Minimum Order: There is no minimum order for rentals picked up at our shop. If you would like items delivered to your
residence, there will be a $100.00 minimum order requirement on all deliveries.
Delivery: We will set a delivery schedule and notify the customer the week of the event. Please notify us when finalizing your
order if you have specific needs or requests. Delivery is to be at a mutually agreeable location at ground level with proper
access. All other sites are subject to a surcharge. Mileage fees are additional. Please call our office for an exact rate.
Someone should be on site when we deliver, or other arrangements need to be made in advance. Our staff will neatly
stack rental items in one location.
Food Service items: China, glassware and food service items arrive in special containers to ensure that you receive them
sanitized and table ready. Prior to return, all items should be clean and free of food and put back in their original
containers. Washing is included in the rental cost.
Linens: Table linens and chairs covers should be folded and stacked, and in their original containers. Linens should be
shook out to remove all food and flowers, dried and put in the linen bags or boxes provided. The customer is not
responsible for replacement of linen with burn holes, stains, minor tears or rips, the damage waiver will cover this. You are
responsible for replacement of missing or severely damaged linens including candle wax damage.
Our Event Setup/takedown service will make your event less stressful and more enjoyable. Please arrange for this
service at least 10 days in advance of your event date.
